Horrific Customer Service at The Apple Store

I just went to the Apple store on 5th Ave to attempt to exchange my non working iPhone headphones for working ones. I was told that I needed to make an appointment at the genius bar in order to do so. The first available appointment was 7 hours from now. Upon explaining how rediculous this was, they brought another employee over to exlain the policy to me. So instead of taking the 30 seconds to just exchange my headphones they had 2 employees spend 5 minutes each telling me I’d have to come back another time to do it. I find this to be absurd. And yes, I’m bitter.

    You should have done it online where they mail them to you with the prepaid return label.
